Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner | Child, Adolescent & Adult Mental Health | Outpatient & Telehealth Care

You may be functioning well on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating, overwhelming stress, or simply feeling unlike yourself. You do not have to figure it all out alone. I provide thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care designed to help you better understand what you are experiencing and take meaningful steps toward feeling more like yourself again.

About Me

I’m Chinwe Ibe, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC, APRN) with more than ten years of healthcare experience and seven years of core nursing experience, including two years specializing in psychiatric and behavioral health. My clinical background includes psychiatric inpatient and outpatient care, emergency care, medical trauma, and medical-surgical settings. This experience has given me a broad understanding of the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up care, and supportive psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. My areas of care include anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma-related concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, adjustment disorders, and stress-related concerns.

My approach to treatment is individualized, collaborative, and patient-centered. I take time to understand your experiences, concerns, symptoms, and goals while helping you understand your diagnosis and available treatment options. I believe informed patients are better able to actively participate in decisions about their mental health care.

When clinically appropriate, I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interventions, psychoeducation, supportive psychotherapy, and practical coping strategies alongside medication management and psychiatric treatment.

I chose psychiatric mental health because I have seen how profoundly emotional and psychological well-being can influence every aspect of a person’s life. I believe people deserve care that recognizes the individual behind the diagnosis. My goal is to provide knowledgeable clinical guidance while creating a welcoming space where you can speak openly, ask questions, express concerns, and actively participate in your treatment.

I offer psychiatric services in an outpatient office setting as well as through telehealth, providing convenient and private options for receiving care. I am licensed to provide psychiatric care in Michigan and Oregon.

If you are ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. We can begin where you are and work together toward where you want to be.
